Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa
 Philippine Secretary of Health

- Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa: Fatty liver disease in the Philippines is becoming a serious health problem and alarming to the national health system. Up to 25-30% of the Philippine population may have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and more dangerously, 70% of people with fatty liver do not know they have fatty liver and if not treated promptly, it can cause up to 10 other serious complications and diseases.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Philippine Department of Health (DOH), liver diseases are one of the leading causes of death in the Philippines and an estimated 15,000-20,000 deaths per year due to complications from fatty liver and liver diseases.
2. Some diseases and health conditions that can arise from fatty liver:
- Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)
NASH (Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis) is a severe form of fatty liver disease, in which there is not only a buildup of fat in the liver but also inflammation and damage to liver cells. Steatohepatitis can cause scarring and reduce liver function.
NASH can progress to cirrhosis if not detected and treated early.
- Cirrhosis
Cirrhosis is a serious liver scarring condition that occurs when the liver is damaged over time and cannot be repaired. When liver cells become inflamed and die, they are replaced by scar tissue. This makes it impossible for the liver to perform important functions such as filtering blood, producing proteins and storing energy.
Complications of cirrhosis:
Liver failure: When the liver is no longer able to perform its vital functions, it leads to liver failure.
Gastrointestinal bleeding: Blockages in the blood vessels of the liver can lead to bleeding in the stomach or esophagus.

Infection: When liver function is impaired, the body is more susceptible to infections.

- Liver cancer
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most serious complications of cirrhosis. When liver tissue is severely damaged by inflammation, fibrosis, or even steatohepatitis (NASH), the risk of developing liver cancer is higher.

Patients with NASH and cirrhosis are at high risk of developing primary liver cancer.
- Cardiovascular disease
Increased risk of cardiovascular disease: Fatty liver disease is closely linked to risk factors for heart disease, including coronary artery disease, heart attack, stroke, and heart failure
- Type 2 diabetes (diabetes mellitus)
Fatty liver disease, especially NASH, may contribute to an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. Excess fat in the liver can reduce the ability to use insulin, leading to insulin resistance โ€“ a condition in which the body cannot use insulin effectively, leading to high blood sugar.
- Dyslipidemia
People with fatty liver often have high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides. This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis.
- Kidney failure
Research shows that fatty liver disease may also increase the risk of chronic kidney failure. When the liver is damaged and cannot filter blood effectively, harmful substances accumulate in the body, affecting other organs, including the kidneys.
- Gastrointestinal disorders and metabolic syndrome
Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors such as obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance, all of which are associated with fatty liver disease. People with this syndrome are at increased risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

- Arthritis and autoimmune diseases
Fatty liver disease may be associated with certain inflammatory arthritis conditions and autoimmune diseases such as lupus

- Hypertension
Patients with fatty liver disease are at increased risk of hypertension, due to changes in the vascular system caused by fat accumulation in the body and affecting liver function.

Fatty Liver

        Red Alert: "Not treating
fatty liver early can cause 10
life-threatening complications"
What comprehensive method helps to reverse fatty liver disease at home without medical intervention?

Currently, the Department of Health is implementing programs to increase public awareness of fatty liver disease and provide solutions to treat fatty liver and liver diseases that patients can do at home without medical intervention or medication.
First of all, I want everyone to know clearly about fatty liver and the complications that patients may encounter due to fatty liver.

1. Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is a condition in which excess fat accumulates in liver cells.
In the early stages of the disease, there will be no specific symptoms, making it difficult for patients to detect that they have the disease.
When patients notice specific symptoms, the disease has progressed rapidly to a dangerous stage, symptoms of the disease:

  • Loss of appetite and nausea - the liver does not function normally, the body will not be able to absorb nutrients.
  • Fatigue and rapid weight loss without reason - Liver not working and toxins build up
  • Yellow skin and eyes โ€“ Liver cannot filter toxins.
  • Dark urine and pale stools โ€“ Biliary obstruction.
  • Abdominal pain and bloating โ€“ Fluid accumulation in the abdomen, which can be a sign of serious liver disease.
  • Hives and allergies โ€“ Liver cannot process toxins, allergic reactions may occur.

Symptoms to Watch For

Fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea

Digestive issues (bloating, nausea, indigestion)

Yellowish skin or eyes (jaundice)

Abdominal pain and swelling

Common Causes of
Liver Disease Unhealthy Diets:

Unhealthy Diets:
High in fats, sugars, and processed foods.

Alcohol Consumption:
Excessive drinking damages liver cells
over time.

Sedentary Lifestyle:
Lack of exercise contributes to fat buildup in the liver.

Medications and Toxins:
Prolonged exposure to certain drugs or chemicals.

Obesity and Diabetes:
Major contributors to liver stress and fat accumulation.

Mark Dizon, a 42-year-old office manager from Quezon City, Philippines, had been battling a difficult battle with fatty liver disease. For years, his demanding office job and sedentary lifestyle had left him dependent on fast food, sugary drinks, and little exercise. Over time, Mark began experiencing troubling symptoms: persistent fatigue, abdominal discomfort, bloating after meals, and even yellowing of his skin and eyesโ€”early signs of liver damage.

A visit to the doctor confirmed his worst fears: non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a condition that, if left untreated, can progress to cirrhosis or liver failure. Mark was determined to turn things around. With lifestyle changes and special nutritional therapy for fatty liver diseaseโ€”he began his journey to better liver health.

- Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa: The Department of Health is running a campaign to raise awareness about fatty liver disease and to provide home remedies for fatty liver without medical intervention and medication to patients.
We have successfully treated more than 30,000 patients with fatty liver at all stages and complications.
You can read some typical cases of patients with fatty liver below:

Conclusion

Take Control of Your Liver Health Today

The stories of the above cases are a reminder of the importance of the liver to overall health. With the right lifestyle changes and the help of Hepa Pro Milk, patients are on the road to recovery. If you are suffering from fatty liver and liver problems, Hepa Pro is a safe and effective choice to enhance metabolism, detoxification and long-term liver health.

1. Treatment regimen for each specific condition:
- According to the recommendation of the Department of Health (DOH), people with liver disease for 3-6 months should use a treatment regimen of 3 to 5 cans, taken twice a day. For people with liver disease for more than 6 months or with symptoms such as jaundice, yellow eyes, bloating and indigestion, they should use a regimen of 5 to 10 cans. Strictly following the treatment regimen as prescribed will ensure the best results.

2. Hepa Pro is not sold in pharmacies:
- Hepa Pro can effectively support the liver after only one appropriate treatment course. When using 3-5 cans, the product improves the liver, detoxifies the liver, treats liver damage, enhances cardiovascular function and reduces the risk of other related conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. This means that these people will no longer need to take medication to treat these conditions. Therefore, pharmacies and sellers of these drugs will be directly affected by lost sales - something that no pharmacy wants.

3. Hepa Pro is produced in very limited quantities and must be pre-ordered:

- Partly because the product contains high levels of Profat omega 55, FOS, Taurinen, Sysine, Soy protein, Isomalt, Methionine, L-Arginine, Milk thistle extract, Solanum procumbens extract, Artichoke extract, BCAA (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine), Choline and vitamins A, B1, B2, B9, B12, C and E, along with rare ingredients, combined with strict European manufacturing standards, so the production quantity is very limited. The main reason for pre-ordering is to prevent scammers and resellers from taking advantage of the product and selling it at high prices.

Donโ€™t wait for symptoms to worsen.
Take proactive steps to care for your liver today!
